Rachel L. Rutledge was Perennial Pictures Film Corporation's first employee. Rachel, a longtime friend of Russ Harris and G. Brian Reynolds, is an exceptional actress and lent her voice to many of the studio's early productions. In addition to her dramatic talents, Perennial soon discovered that she had a keen eye for color and design, and in 1982 invited her to head up the Ink and Paint Department. In 1995 Rachel L. Rutledge retired from the animation business and moved to Washington state where she resides with her husband and remains active in other areas of film and video production.
